waktu lalu seorang mertua di India yang sangat mendambakan seorang cucu
bertindak keji terhadap menantu perempuannya. Menantu perempuan
tersebut bernama Putul Khumari berumur 35 tahun yang dibakar hidup-hidup

dibakar hidup-hidup, Putul Khumari disiksa terlebih dahulu oleh
mertuanya. Beruntung saat dibakar polisi segera datang dan masih sempat
untuk menyelamatkan Putul sebelum ia mati terbakar. Kini kondisi Putul
dalam keadaan tak sadarkan diri dan dirawat di rumah sakit.
Ternyata
setelah diperiksa polisi, Putul bukan pertama kalinya mendapatkan
siksaan fisik dari sang mertua. Hal ini terjadi karena alasannya Putul
hingga 10 tahun membina rumah tangga dengan putranya namun tak kunjung
memberikan cucu.
Pada akhirnya karena hilang kesabaran dan keinginannya menimang cucu tak segera kesampaian, Putuul dianggap mandul. Putul mendapat siksaan paling parah adalah pada senin malam, kepalanya dibenturkan dengan keras ke dinding oleh mertuanya. Setelah pingsan Putul dimasukkan ke peti mati oleh mertuanya dan kemudian dibawa ke tepi sungai.

Ternyata mertuanya sudah menyiapkan perapian yang biasa digunakan untuk melakukan kremasi mayat tradisional adat India. Awalnya masyarakat yang melihat perapian buatan mertua Putul tidak curiga karena memang lumrah kremasi dilakukan di lokasi tersebut.
Namun akhirnya ketahuan kremasi tersebut bukan seperti yang biasanya dilakukan masyarakat India. Adalah seorang pejalan kaki bernama Manjeet Tiwari yang mendengar jeritan perempuan dalam peti yang sedang dibakar tersebut. Warga juga akhirnya sadar dan Manjeet Tiwari langsung menghubungi polisi untuk segera datang ke tempat kejadian perkara.
Saat dievakuasi dari peti yang terbakar tersebut sebagian tubuh Putul sudah terbakar dan akhirnya ia pingsan.
"Kami sudah mendaftarkan kasus ini dan melakukan sejumlah penangkapan. Semua tersangka yang terlibat juga sudah ditahan," kata perwira polisi Avadhesh Kumar Singh (Tribunnews.com)
Kini polisi menunggu Putul sadar untuk meminta kesaksian dan keterangan. Selama 10 tahun sudah Putul menikah dengan Ravidra namun tak juga dikaruniai anak. Hal ini membuat keluarga suaminya geram. Kerap disiksa seperti dipukuli, puncaknya Putul dibakar hidup-hidup.
Ngeri juga ya guys, padahal ya belum diperiksakan ke dokter untuk benar-benar tahu siapa yang mandul. Anak memang dambaan setiap pasangan yang sudah menikah dan orangtua yang ingin menimang cucu.
